First introduced in 1938, Little Petra gained immediate recognition at the Guild Exhibition in Copenhagen and went on to win prestigious awards at exhibitions in New York and Berlin. This is one of the few projects of the architect Viggo Boesen, who in the 1930s became associated with the characteristic Danish design aesthetics known as the Funkis style. Little Petra is surprisingly "petite". Can adapt to all kinds of environments.
Little Petra is available in a wide range of upholstery fabrics as well as with a choice of properly finished wooden legs.

Viggo Boesen was a Danish architect and designer, active in the 1930s and 1940s known from the contribution to the development of the Funkis style - a Danish interpretation of functionalism. His designs such as the "Little Petra" armchair from 1938 were characterized by soft lines, organic forms and coziness, contrasting with the dominant modernism. Boesen used natural materials like wood and rattan to create furniture combining aesthetics with comfort. His works were presented at exhibitions, gaining recognition for innovative Pode to design. Although for some time he remained in the shadow of the more famous contemporary, his projects are experiencing a renaissance thanks to contemporary reissues, emphasizing the timelessness of his vision.
