The wood used to produce the In Between table isFSC certified Which means that it meets the set standards for responsible forest management in terms of social, ecological and economic aspects. In the case of products with the FSC logo, we can be sure that they are made from raw materials from responsible sources.
Sami Kallio is a Finnish-Swedish designer and craftsman, whose work combines Scandinavian minimalism with deep respect for traditional craftsmanship. He was born in Helsinki, but grew up in Gothenburg, where he also runs his studio. Kallio specializes in furniture design, especially chairs, using classic carpentry techniques, such as wood turning or hot forming. His work is characterized by the purity of the form, functionality and precise performance. It is known, among others from the "In Between" collection for & tradition, which combines modernity with the Nordic heritage. He also designed for Marek Hans K, Northern or nikari. Kallio believes that a good design should be available, durable and honest with materials.
