Flowerpot VP1 lampis a timeless design by Verner PanTon, which has become a symbol of the aesthetics of the 1960s and the spirit of the Flower Power movement. Inspired by the idea of freedom, peace and modern thinking, it perfectly reflects the groundbreaking nature of design of that decade. Its form - based on two hemispheres - is an expression of a departure from convention in favor of a bold, futuristic design.

The project was created in 1968 and to this day remains one of the most recognizable lamps in the history of Danish design. The simple, geometric design makesthe Flowerpot VP1 hanging lamp It fits perfectly into both modern, minimalist interiors and retro or mid-century modern arrangements.

Design

Verner Panton
Verner PanTon was one of the greatest Danish designers of the 20th century, who revolutionized the world of design. Known for his futuristic Pode approach, he created furniture, lighting and accessories that broke traditional forms and introduced bold colors and modern materials. His most famous work is the PanTon chair - the first ever fully one-piece seat made of plastic, which combines sculptural form with functionality. He collaborated with brands such as Vitra and &Tradition. His designs combined functionality with experimentation with form, which made him a design icon of the 1960s and 1970s.
