FJ Elements by Louis Poulsen is a unique design by Danish architect Finn Juhl, refreshed in 2025 based on his sketches from 1963. The lamp is distinguished by its geometric form and creative function - the upper lampshade can be rotated relative to the lower one, which allows you to freely control the direction of light. The light is directed downwards and is supplemented with subtle upward illumination, and the built-in diffuser provides comfortable, glare-free lighting. This modern table lamp made of high-quality materials is durable and light, and the matte finish fits perfectly into the timeless aesthetics of Danish design.
The lamp is powered by an E14 15W light source and equipped with a textile cable (2.8 m) and a switch in the base. It is an elegant and functional complement to interiors - from the living room, through the bedroom to the home office.
Finn Juhl (1912–1989) is one of the greatest Danish architects and designers who forever changed the face of world design. Recognized as a pioneer of Danish modernism and Functionalism, he became famous primarily as the creator of furniture in which he combined organic shapes, sculptural form and functionality. His designs, such as the iconic Chieftain Chair chair or the Poet sofa, have become design icons and are still produced by reputable brands today. Juhl introduced lightness and elegance inspired by art into the interior, blurring the boundaries between architecture and equipment. In addition to furniture, he also created lighting projects, including FJ Elements lamp. In the 1950s he gained international recognition, designing, among others Interiors of the UN headquarters in New York.
