Pion is a modern family of tables and stools that, thanks to various finishes and sizes, allows the personalization of unique configurations tailored to the specific needs of both private and commercial users. This designer project retains the subtle essence of the classic, just like the game of chess from which it draws inspiration.
Dining and conference tables are flexible enough to be used in a variety of spaces. Smaller tables, including occasional tables and upholstered stools, also occupy their important place to complement the interior design. Pion Fresno offers ash veneer countertops. Slatted linden wood countertops belong to the Pion Tilo model, while Emperador Gold marble and Carrara marble are the luxurious variants of Pion Petra.
The included template is a full palette of varnishes in a matte finish. If you are interested in high gloss varnish, please contact our store staff.
Ionna Vautrin is a French designer and artist, known for combining poetry with an industrial Pode approach to design. She graduated from École de Design Nantes Atlantique in 2002, and after graduation she worked, among others, for Camper in Spain, George J. Sowden in Italy, and Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec in France. In 2011, she founded her own studio in Paris after winning the Grand Prix de la Création in Paris. Her designs are characterized by organic and geometric forms, vivid colors and intuitive functionality, with a clear emphasis on friendly, surprising shapes. She has collaborated with many international brands such as Foscarini, Mustache, Kvadrat, Christian Dior, Sancal, Super-ette, Lexon and Serralunga, creating, among others, the iconic Binic lamp.
