The Daumiller chair is a tribute to Rainer Daumiller's lifelong passion for natural materials and forms. This modern chair, made of certified solid pine, has an ergonomic seat adapted to the contours of the body, which only adds a bold, retro expression to the classic Danish design.
Rainer Daumiller is a German designer known for its characteristic furniture made of solid wood, especially chairs and tables from the 70s. His most popular projects produced by Hirtshals Sawmill are distinguished by a sculptural form, soft lines and ergonomics. Inspired by nature and Scandinavian functionalism, Daumiller created durable furniture with strong material identity especially from pine, whose jars were part of aesthetics. His chairs with armrests have become an icon of rustic modernism and today they are eagerly resumed and collected. Daumiller's style combines minimalism, comfort and nobility of wood, and its projects perfectly fit into the current trends focused on naturalness, authenticity and durability.
