Cobra Scorpius from the Italian brand Martinelli Luce is a limited edition of the iconic Elio Martinelli lamp from 1968. Its rotating, sculptural form refers to the silhouette of a cobra in motion, and the Scorpius version in a deep, night-time shade of blue draws inspiration from the constellation Scorpius - mysterious, energetic and full of contrasts. This modern table lamp is made of molded resin, mounted on a steel base with a 360° rotation mechanism. The interior contains a white aluminum reflector that disperses warm LED light (3000K, 1180 lm), creating ideal conditions for reading or atmospheric interior lighting.
Elio Martinelli is one of the most important Italian designers of the 20th century, the founder of the Martinelli Luce brand.
