The wooden elements of the A-8134 chair are made by bending beech wood under the influence of steam and high pressure. This makes the whole thing exceptionally resistant to mechanical damage and allows the wood to be bent into fancy shapes that are impossible to obtain with any other technique. The 8110 collection also uses a weaving technique in the seat and backrest areas.
