The 1880 chair collection is a tribute to classic Thonet chairs manufactured using the technology of bending beech wood under the influence of steam and pressure. These patterns have become a symbol of the industrial revolution, proving that mass production of beautiful, light and durable furniture is possible at an affordable price. Iskry Studio is an interdisciplinary design studio from Warsaw, founded by Marysia Gajewska and Michał Niedośpiał. For the brand Paged they designed the FUOCO chair, combining Yakisugi technique with a modern form and a brass detail. Iskry studio is distinguished by a fresh look at design, creating projects full of character and emotions.
