Bow Bench 101 Copenhagen

Bow is a modern bench inspired by a brutal design from the mid -20th century. Refers to old aqueducts from the Roman Empire and the classic architect geometry Ton. The bench was cast from a light be Ton in fibrous to create a unique textured surface.

The bench is hand -painted with many layers of paint, creating a strong and resistant surface.

Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl

Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl is a Danish duo of designers, which since 2015 has been creating for brands NORR11 and 101 Copenhagen. Hansen, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Kyoto Institute of Technology, combines Scandinavian simplicity with Japanese Aesthetics Wabi-Sabi creating minimalist, sculptural forms. Hyldahl, the founder of both brands draws on fashion experience and trend analysis by introducing bold, modern concepts. Their joint projects, such as the Hippo chair, sofa studio or Drop lamp are characterized by harmony of form and functions, are inspired by brutalist architecture and Japan's culture. Thanks to the combination of various experiences and passions, this duo creates timeless, expressive furniture and lighting that combine classic crafts with modern design.
