Totem Floor Lamp 101 Copenhagen

TOTEM is a modern floor lamp embodying the fundamental rules for the design of lighting by the brand 101 Copenhagen. The light source hidden between two round screens is intensified in indirect light emission, which changes depending on the point of view and movement around the lamp.

The lamp is delivered without a light source (Philips Classic LED bulbs recommended).

Kristian Sofus Hansen & Tommy Hyldahl

Kristian Sofus Hansen and Tommy Hyldahl is a Danish duo of designers, which since 2015 has been creating for brands NORR11 and 101 Copenhagen. Hansen, a graduate of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and Kyoto Institute of Technology, combines Scandinavian simplicity with Japanese Aesthetics Wabi-Sabi creating minimalist, sculptural forms. Hyldahl, the founder of both brands draws on fashion experience and trend analysis by introducing bold, modern concepts. Their joint projects, such as the Hippo chair, sofa studio or Drop lamp are characterized by harmony of form and functions, are inspired by brutalist architecture and Japan's culture. Thanks to the combination of various experiences and passions, this duo creates timeless, expressive furniture and lighting that combine classic crafts with modern design.
