Stine Weigelt

Stine Lundgaard Weigelt is a Danish furniture designer, a graduate of design school kolding. He runs his own studio in Aarhus, where he creates projects on the border of utility design, art and social design. Her style is characterized by a minimalist form, reduction of unnecessary details and an emphasis on functionality and aesthetics. He works with reputable brands, such as FDB Møbler and Skagerak. Weigelt has gained recognition thanks to the project of the thirty chair Anker for FDB Møbler, which combines the tradition of Danish design with modern Pode Jest. Her works, such as the Søs coffee table or Lønstrup chair, is characterized by simplicity and attention to detail. In 2017, she received the prestigious Finn Juhl Prisen award for an innovative contribution to Danish furniture design. Her designs are present in the DESIGNMuseum Danmark and Trapholt collections.
