The Bat chair was born from the idea of a Scandinavian Pode approach to craftsmanship, simplicity and functionality. The wraparound shell with armrests embodies aesthetics and comfort in equal measure. GamFratesi is a duo of designers: Danish architect Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The studio was established in 2006 in Copenhagen and quickly gained international recognition for its creative combination of Scandinavian minimalism with the Italian sense of detail and craftsmanship. Their designs combine traditional forms with a modern interpretation of materials and functions. GamFratesi cooperates with many prestigious brands, including: Gubi or Louis Poulsen. Their most recognizable designs include the Beetle collection, the Bat armchair and the Yuh lamp.
