Modern hanging lamp from the Bamboo Forest series by the Czech brand Brokis. Inspired by the contours rising in bamboo stands. Hand-blown glass resembling a bamboo stem creates a layered ring, giving the lamp a subtle accent of shadows.
Bamboo Forest lamps are available in 6 sizes and 3 colors. These luxurious luminaires look great both in a combination of several lamps and single-point lighting (the attached arrangement photos show other, exemplary Bamboo Forest lighting systems).
Fuma Shibata is an outstanding Japanese designer of industrial design known for its minimalist, elegant style and attention to detail. She graduated from Musashino Art University, and in 1994 she founded her own studio Design Studio S. Her work includes a wide range from medical equipment through consumer electronics to interior design and lifestyle accessories. Shibata projects show harmony of form and functions as well as deep respect for the user. The artist is known, among others from projects for brands such as Muji, Omron or Toshiba. Awarded many times, incl. The Good Design Award and Red regarding Fuma Shibata combines modern aesthetics with Japanese tradition, creating subtle objects, but at the same time expressive and perfectly fitting into a modern lifestyle.
