The iconic Akari lamp designed by Isamu Noguchi is a combination of art, tradition and subtle light. Handmade by Japanese craftsmen Made of washi paper and a bamboo frame, it delights with its lightness of form and soft glow that brings to mind the light of the sun in the morning. Each piece is made in the Ozeki family workshop in GifuAccording to the master's original sketches. Noguchi believed that "the rawness of electricity could be transformed into the magic of light from the sun" - and Akari 14A is the best proof of this.

The lamp is equipped with a 4W LED source (2700K), the fixture emits warm, natural light, creating an atmosphere of peace and harmony.

The setting is signed with the sun and moon, guaranteeing authenticity and unique character.

Design

Isamu Noguchi
Isamu Noguchi is an American-Japanese sculptor, architect and designer whose work blurred the boundaries between art and functional design. He collaborated with icons of modern design, including: Vitria, Herman Miller and Knoll, creating designs that are still considered classics of the 20th century. His most famous works include the Noguchi Table, an organic design icon, and the Akari Light Sculptures lamp collection, combining traditional Japanese craftsmanship with a poetic Pode approach to light. Noguchi also designed sets, furniture and public spaces, remaining faithful to the idea of harmony between nature, material and form.

We offer delivery by courier, company transport or personal collection. Free delivery applies to orders over PLN 300.
