The Eames Desk Unit (EDU) by Vitra is a classic of modernist design created by Charles and Ray Eames in 1949. Designed according to the principles of industrial production, it combineslightness of structure with exceptional functionality. The tabletop is made of birch plywood with a natural lacquered finish, and the shelves are made of maple plywood. Colorful panels made of powder-coated aluminumin shades of Pale Blue (83), Fawn (85) and Rusty Orange (86) give the desk a characteristic, timeless color rhythmDeveloped in collaboration with Hella Jongerius.
