Wall lamp from the Tripod collection of the Danish brand &Tradition. A unique combination of timeless Hvidt & Mølgaard design with modern functionality. Inspired by sketches of the original design, this modern wall lamp retains the essence of Tripod's distinctive form. The lampshade is made of lacquered aluminum and is mounted on a spherical steel base. The movable lampshade allows you to adjust the direction of light, providing pleasant, diffused illumination, perfect for the living room, bedroom or corridor.
Hvidt & Mølgaard is a Danish duo of designers; Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, active mainly in the 1940s-70s. 20th century. The studio became famous for the combination of traditional craftsmanship with modern design, being one of the pioneers of Danish modernism. Their designs such as AX Chair, Boomerang Chair or Tripod lamps were distinguished by the lightness of the form, functionality and innovative Pode for materials, especially bent plywood. They collaborated with brands like Fritz Hansen} & tradition, and their works are today design icons and are in collections, among others Moma.
