Erik Magnussen

Erik Magnussen was a Danish industrial designer known for its functional and minimalist forms. He studied ceramics at the school of plays used in Copenhagen. He worked for brands such as Bing & Grøndahl, Fritz Hansen, Georg Jensen and Stelton. His most famous work is the EM77 thermal jug for Stelton from 1977, which became an icon of Scandinavian design. Magnussen has won many prestigious awards, including Lunning Prize and Red Dot Award. His designs are distinguished by minimalism, elegance and practicality, which provided them with timeless popularity. He created utility items with everyday comfort, always combining aesthetics with innovation.
