Shorebirds by Normann Copenhagen is a series of charming, solidly made, oak figurines with a sTon expression. The collection includes 3 sizes and several color versions. The designer paid a lot of attention to small details, such as changes in thickness, neck length, position of the legs and beak. Thanks to tEmu all three birds have their own unique personality and allow you to absolutely liven up the interior.
Place the large Shorebird on a shelf or chest of drawers where it can stand proudly next to vases and other decorative items. The two smaller birds are perfect for placing in groups where combining them will create a stylish and fun effect.

Sigurjón Pálsson is an Icelandic designer and writer, a graduate of Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. His philosophy is based on a harmonious combination of form, function and material, striving for simplicity and timelessness. The best known from the series of wooden birds Shorebirds, originally designed for a local craftsman in Húsavík, which later became a bestseller Normann Copenhagen. His other projects are Puffin, inspired by a maskon, and RAM and Walrus, reflecting the Icelandic fauna. He cooperates with EPAL, and his works are valued for minimalist aesthetics and deep root in Icelandic culture. Pálsson is also the author of detective stories for which he received the Blóðdropinn award in 2012. His credo is: "Look is always more beautiful than just look beautiful."
