Claire Vos is a Dutch designer specializing in textiles, known for skillful combining traditional techniques with modern design. Born in 1965 in Tegelen, she graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 1991, and improved her skills in Italy, Switzerland and Indonesia. In 1999, together with her husband, Roderick Vos, she founded the Roderick Vos studio, which works with reputable brands such as Moooi, Linteloo or Pode. Vos derives inspiration from different cultures, reinterpreting traditional patterns such as Indonesian Ikat or Dutch blankets, creating modern, graphic designs. Her works, including the Liquid Layers rug collection for Moooi, are characterized by an innovative Pode in design and care for details.
