Semi is a modern hanging lamp based on two quarter circles connected back to back. The characteristic, arc-shaped enamelled lampshade creates diffused light in the shape of a cone, which makes the fixture look great, for example; above the dining room table or kitchen counter. Moreover, the lightness of form, timeless design and a wide range of colors and sizes also make it a very original setting for commercial interiors.
The lamp is delivered with a cable and a ceiling lining (no bulb included). The attached arrangement photos show the Semi hanging lamp in various available sizes and colors.

The Semi lamp became the best-selling Danish design in the 1980s, gaining global recognition and the status of a true design icon.
Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup are Danish designers who started cooperation in 1969. Their best known work is the Semi lamp, designed in 1968, which won the first prize in the academic competition. The lamp has become an icon of the Danish design of the 1980s. Their works are characterized by geometric minimalism and classic simplicity, and in their career they cooperated with such brands as Gubi, Georg Jensen and designed, among others Arktikum Museum in Finland. Bonderup and Thorup have won numerous awards, including the German Die Gute Industrofform and Nordic Design Prize. After 1992, they continued working individually, remaining important characters in the field of design and architecture.
