Morten Georgsen

Morten Georgsen is a Danish furniture designer who has been creating functional and elegant solutions for houses around the world for over three decades. He started his career at Bang & Olufsen, where he learned to combine aesthetics with technology. In 1992 he founded his own design studio, which in 2014 he transformed in Morten Georgsen Studio based in Valencia. His philosophy "no nonsense design" is based on minimalism, functionality and accessibility. Since 1993, he has been cooperating with Boconcept, creating collections such as Bergamo, Modena or Lugano, which combine Scandinavian aesthetics with practical solutions. Georgsen also designed for brands such as Dan-Form, Kare Design or Teulat. His works are characterized by a minimalist Pode Jest, attention to proportions and the use of various materials, which makes them both aesthetic and functional.
