The Pratfall armchair is an iconic design by Philippe Starck, created for the Italian brand Driade in 1983. Its unique design is based on three strongly inclined legs and a curved wooden shell surrounding the user, which gives it a characteristic, modern look.
In 2023, Driade launched an updated version of the Pratfall armchair, offering new finishes and materials. Currently, various combinations of curved veneer shells and leather upholstery are available, which allows the armchair to be adjusted to individual preferences and various interior arrangements.
The Pratfall armchair is characterized by compact dimensions. Its solid construction and ergonomic design ensure comfort of use, making it an excellent choice for both home and commercial spaces.
Philippe Starck is a French designer who has revolutionized contemporary design.
