As a self -taught, he began his career in the 90s, developing his characteristic style based on minimalism, functionality and inspiration with nature and architecture. His most recognizable designs are armchairs, sofas and poufs that combine comfort with original design, often going beyond typical furniture schemes. Van der Kley collaborated with reputable brands, such as Arthfort or Montis, gaining recognition at the international design fair. In recent years, he has also been known for its innovative Project Egg project - a space printed in 3D, symbolizing openness and cooperation. His work is a combination of technology, craftsmanship and artistic vision that distinguishes him from contemporary designers.
