Paul McCobb

Paul McCobb was an American furniture and interior designer, considered one of the most important creators of the modernist style in the mid -20th century. He was born in 1917 in Massachusetts and although he did not have a formal education architect Ton ore, he quickly gained recognition thanks to the sense of proportion, functionality and elegant form. The best known from the Planner Group furniture collection, which were available to a wide audience and combined modern aesthetics with an affordable price. McCobb also designed lighting, ceramics, fabrics and everyday objects. His style is characterized by clean lines, light form and practicality, often using metal and light wood. McCobba's works to this day inspire designers and collectors, and its furniture is icons of American design. He died in 1969, leaving a lasting heritage in the world of design.
