Panthella 160 Portable is a compact, portable table lamp designed by Verner PanTon for the Louis Poulsen brand. It is a smaller version of the classic Panthella lamp from 1971, characterized by an organic shape and functionality adapted to modern needs. The lamp has a hemispherical lampshade with a diameter of 16 cm, which directs the light down onto a trumpet-shaped base, which reflects it evenly, creating cozy lighting.
The Panthella 160 Portable lamp is equipped with an integrated 2.5 W LED light source, emitting warm white light with a color temperature of 2700 K and a luminous flux of 81 lumens. The lamp has a built-in battery charged via a USB cable (included in the set, without a power supply).), which allows it to be carried and used anywhere, both indoors and outdoors. The operating time on a full charge is up to 5 hours at maximum brightness. Additionally, the lamp offers a dimming function with three brightness levels: 10%, 33% and 100%, which allows you to adjust the light intensity to your individual needs.
Verner PanTon was one of the greatest Danish designers of the 20th century, who revolutionized the world of design. Known for his futuristic Pode approach, he created furniture, lighting and accessories that broke traditional forms and introduced bold colors and modern materials. His most famous work is the PanTon chair - the first ever fully one-piece seat made of plastic, which combines sculptural form with functionality. He collaborated with brands such as Vitra and &Tradition. His designs combined functionality with experimentation with form, which made him a design icon of the 1960s and 1970s.
