Designed in 1963 by Danish designers, the P376 lamp consists of five concentric disks which, by reducing their diameter towards the center of the lamp, emit soft, diffused light. Its shape is the quintessence of the designers' fascination and many years of work on the relationship between function and form. It will work great above the dining table.
Fabricius & Kastholm is a Danish duo of designers: Preben Fabricius (1931–1984) and Jørgen Kastholm (1931–2007), who jointly created in the 1960s. Both educated as carpenters and architects met during their studies at the Danish School of Art and Craft. Their cooperation was based on joint pursuit of functional beauty and the highest quality of workmanship. They mainly designed skin and steel furniture in style inspired by modernism and Bauhaus. The most famous projects include FK87 Grasshopper armchair and FK Bucket chair for Walter Knoll - icons of minimalism and elegance. The duo gained recognition for technical precision, comfort and timeless style. Their works were exhibited all over the world and still remain a model of classic Scandinavian design.
