Oki Sato, the founder of the NANDO studio is one of the most influential designers of modern design. Born in 1977 in Canada, educated in Tokyo combines Japanese sensitivity with global aesthetics in his work. He creates light, poetic and full of conceptual humor. Nendo designs for leading brands such as Fritz Hansen, Louis Poulsen, Flos, Cappellini, Kartell, Moroso, Boffi, Hermès and Lexus. Sato work includes furniture, lighting, architecture and artistic installations, often surprising with form and meaning. His projects are issued in MoMa, Center Pompidou and Design Museum in London.
