Shane Schneck is an American industrial designer living in Stockholm, known for creating innovative and functional objects with a strong utility. The founder of the Office for Design studio works with such brands as HAY, Fritz Hansen, MENU or Muji. His projects combine Scandinavian simplicity with American Pode for innovation, creating modern, available and aesthetically refined products. Schneck focuses on how objects are used on a daily basis, striving for maximum usability without unnecessary ornaments. In his work, the balance between the form and function as well as attention to details, colors and materials is clear. His Pode Jest makes design more affordable, and at the same time full of character and ingenuity.
