Kasper Salto

Kasper Salto is a Danish furniture designer, known for combining Scandinavian craftsmanship with modern technology. He was born in 1967 in Copenhagen, as the son of the artist Nanna Salto and grandson of Ceramics Axel Salto. He studied at the Danish Design School. He was publicity of projects for companies Fritz Hansen, Lightyears and Muuto. His most famous works include the ICE chair and the NAP series. Salto has won many awards, including Red and IF Design Award. His style combines liquid forms, attention to detail and ergonomics. He also co -creates the studio Salto & Sigsgaard, operating at the interface between design and interior architecture
