The Monolit CM221 chair is characterized by a wrap-around backrest that provides the user with a sense of privacy and comfort. A delicate cutout at the front of the seat allows freedom of movement, which makes the chair ideal for long meetings at the table. Organic lines and proportions have been carefully refined to ensure not only aesthetics, but also ergonomics of use. The chair is made of molded plywood, fully upholstered with high-quality fabrics, with a subtle finish in the form of natural leather piping. The horseshoe-shaped base, made of powder-coated metal, ensures stability and visual lightness. The availability of various fabric and color combinations allows you to personalize the chair according to your individual preferences.
Cecilie Manz is one of the most valued contemporary Scandinavian designers. Born in Denmark in 1972, has been creating minimalist and functional furniture, lighting, ceramics and glass designs for years. Her works combine the simplicity of form with attention to detail and high quality. In 1998, she founded her own studio in Copenhagen, where she develops both industrial projects and unique, experimental facilities. He works with such brands as Fritz Hansen, Muuto, Bang & Olufsen, Iittal and Duravit. Her projects have gained international recognition and are presented in museums around the world, including in Moma in New York. MANZ is a laureate of many prestigious awards and decorations, including the title of designer of the year Maison & Objet (2018) and the French Order of Art and Literature.
