Press Large Bowl brand Tom Dixon is a unique decorative bowl made of thick, pressed glass. Its massive form and expressive grooves not only catch the eye, but also break the light, creating spectacular shadows and reflections in the environment. This modern and timeless project combines sculptural aesthetics with functionality.
The bowl was made by injecting the hot glass mass into cast iron forms - this technique guarantees a unique texture and durability. Thanks to its weight and solid design, Press Bowl looks great as an independent decorative element, but it also works well as a patera for fruit, candlesticks or floristic compositions.
Tom Dixon is one of the most influential British contemporary designers. The self -taught, which began as a welder, became famous thanks to the innovative Emu Pode to form, material and light. In 2002, he founded his own brand - Tom Dixon Studio - and since then he has been creating iconic collections of lighting, furniture and accessories, combining luxury with industrial rawness. His projects, such as the Beat or Melt series, are present in the best interiors in the world. Dixon was the creative director of the habitat and received the title of Royal Designer for Industry. Each of his product is an expression of an original style and bold thinking about design.
