Product description

Bar chair merano It combines a solid foundation of solid wood with a harmonious shape of profiled plywood on the seat and resistance. Thanks to advanced production technology, it is amazingly light and does not contain any screws or other metal parts. Together with the chair, low bar chair and the armchair, Merano creates a complete family. an excellent proposition for both the home island and the restaurant bar.

Alexander Gufler

Alexander Gufler

Alexander Gufler is an Italian designer born in Merano, who started as a goldsmith in his father's workshop, and then studied industrial design in Vienna. In 2010 he founded his own design studio. It is known for its minimalist, functional furniture that combines craftsmanship with a modern form. He works closely with the Czech brand Ton, for which he created, among others The iconic Merano collection, as well as Alba, Again or La Zitta. His projects have been awarded many times, including Red Dot Design Award or German Design Award. In the years 2020–2023 he was the creative director of Ton, strengthening the brand's position in the world of design.
