CMP Design

CMP Design is an Italian design studio founded in 2009 by Michel Cazzaniga, Simone Mandelli and an Ton ore pagliarulo. The name CMP comes from the initials of their names. All three met during their studies at the Milan University of Technology, where they established creative cooperation, which resulted in the creation of a joint studio in Como. CMP Design specializes in designing furniture, products, graphics and visual identification. Their Pode Jests are based on dialogue with craftsmen, techniques and users, which allows you to create projects combining tradition with modernity. Characteristic for their work is to draw inspiration from everyday objects, popular culture and nature, which translates into simple and timeless forms. The studio cooperates with reputable brands, such as Pedrali, for which they designed, among others Chairs Tribeca, Folk, Lamorisse and Panarea. Their projects have won numerous awards, including Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award and Big See Award.
