Jette Scheib

Jette Scheib is a German industrial designer, known for creating lighting and interior design accessories combining functionality with organic aesthetics. Born in Eastern Berlin in 1977, she completed product design at the Universität der Künste in Berlin. In 2005 she founded her own design studio, and since 2018 she has focused mainly on lighting design. Her works are characterized by the inspiration of nature and handicrafts, which can be seen in collections such as "Grass", "Parrot" or "Division" for the French brand Forestier. It uses natural materials such as Abaka and Rattan, creating lamps with soft forms and warm light. The "Kimono" collection for Designheure from 2019 refers to Japanese aesthetics, combining minimalism with elegance.
