Visser & Meijwaard

Visser & Meijwaard is a Dutch design studio founded in 2013 in Arnhem by Steven Visser (born in 1985) and Vera Meijwaard (born in 1988), graduates of product design direction at Artez University of the Arts. Their works are characterized by minimalist Pode in which materials, color and form play a key role. Designers are inspired by everyday objects, discovering hidden beauty in them and giving them new meaning through experiments with context and scale. The studio specializes in designing furniture, lighting, textiles and exhibition scenery. They collaborated with renowned brands such as Hermès, Linteloo, Moooi Carpets and PULPO Products. Their projects were presented at international exhibitions in cities such as London, Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo and Copenhagen.
