Tomek Rygalik

Tomek Rygalik is one of the greatest Polish designers, lecturer, curator and art doctor. He studied architecture at the Lodz University of Technology, and then industrial design at the Pratt Institute in New York and obtained a master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London. After graduation, he collaborated with reputable companies, such as Kodak, Polaroid, MTV, Perkinelmer, DentSply, Unilever and Dupont. In 2006, he founded the Rygalik studio, which he led together with his wife, designer Gosia Rygalik. The studio is based in Warsaw, and its activities include the design of furniture, interiors, scenery and implementation of projects for cultural institutions. Rygalik cooperated with brands such as Moroso, Noti, Profim, Ideal Standard, Siemens, Heineken and Ikea. He also served as an artistic director in Polish furniture companies, such as Comforty, Paged and Nobonobo.
