The Kandinsky hanging lamp was inspired by the abstract paintings of the artist of the same name, created during his studies at the Bauhaus school in the 1920s. The ball and the spear play the main characters in the lamp's composition, piercing each other in the air. The delicate balance of the two elements creates a dramatic impression of weightlessness and precision, but also of fragility...
The Kandinsky lamp is available in 2 colors; smoke brown and smoke gray and 2 glass ball sizes; 30 and 45 cm.
The luminaire is delivered with a metal ceiling lining.
BROBERG & RIDDERSTRUSLE is a Swedish duo of designers, Mates Brobleg and Johan Ridderstråle known for combining functionality with sophisticated aesthetics and a hint of humor.
