Nikodem Szpunar

Nikodem Szpunar is a valued Polish furniture designer and painter, a graduate of the Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. His work combines industrial production with craft and artistic experiments. Szpunar cooperated with brands such as noti, Paged furniture, Moooi}}}}} carpets or befame, creating collections such as prop, tuk, icho-mio and plug. His projects were presented at international fairs and exhibitions in Berlin, Milan, London, New York, Hong Kong and Japan. He is a laureate of many awards, including a good pattern, International Furniture Design Award (Asahikawa), Make Me! and must have. In 2019, he received the title of designer of the year from Arena Design, and in 2021 from the Institute of Industrial Design.
