The Guild HM14 Wall Shelf combines timeless elegance with functionality. Created in 1954 by Peter Hvidt for his family home in Klampenborg, it is a tribute to the highest quality craftsmanship. Its subtle, undulating form, inspired by the winding paths of the garden surrounding the Hvidt estate, exudes harmony and sophistication. Every detail of this shelf has been thought out to maintain a balance between aesthetics and practicality - from precise edges to carefully selected materials. Guild HM14 fits perfectly into various interior arrangements, from minimalist to classic. It is more than just a shelf - it is a decorative element that gives the space character and attracts attention with its uniqueness.
Hvidt & Mølgaard is a Danish duo of designers; Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, active mainly in the 1940s-70s. 20th century. The studio became famous for the combination of traditional craftsmanship with modern design, being one of the pioneers of Danish modernism. Their designs such as AX Chair, Boomerang Chair or Tripod lamps were distinguished by the lightness of the form, functionality and innovative Pode for materials, especially bent plywood. They collaborated with brands like Fritz Hansen} & tradition, and their works are today design icons and are in collections, among others Moma.
