Nicholai Wiig Hansen

Nicholai Wiig Hansen is a Danish designer who founded his own studio at the age of 26. The son of the famous artist Svenda Wiig Hansen, from the beginning of his career, focused on the functionality and simplicity of form. His designs are characterized by clear proportions, balance and reduction of details to the absolute minimum, while maintaining aesthetics and expressiveness. He collaborated with brands such as Normann Copenhagen, ikea, Fritz Hansen, Lightyears and Raavia. His most famous works include: Tablo tables, GEO jug, My Chair chair and Night Owl lamp. He is also the artistic director of the Raavia brand, famous for its colorful ceramics. WIIG Hansen believes that design should be both practical and emotionally engaging, combining utility with aesthetic experience. His projects were acquired by, among others Red Dot Award and German Design Award.
