Philip Bro

Philip Bro Ludvigsen is a Danish industrial designer born in 1962 in Australia. In 1989 he graduated from the Danish school of design in Copenhagen, and in 2001 he founded his own studio Philip Bro Design. He specializes in designing furniture, lighting and interior accessories, combining functionality with poetic, often surprising Pode to form. His designs are characterized by soft lines, natural materials and innovative solutions, such as the Undercover lamp for Le Klint with replaceable lampshades. He collaborated with reputable brands such as Georg Jensen, Royal Copenhagen, Softline, Woud, Lyngby Porcelæn or Ikea. He is a laureate of many awards, including Red Dot Design Award and Good Design Award. Philip Bro is also involved in sustainable design projects such as Tiny Gardens and Growbox. His work is proof that serious design can be stylish, funny and non -obvious at the same time.
