Jordi Canudas is a Barcelona-based industrial designer known for his experimental approach to light and materials. A member of the London collective OKAY Studio, he creates projects that often go beyond the classic framework of design - they explore process, reaction, experience. His most recognizable work is the Dipping Light lamp for Marset - it was created from tests of dipping a light bulb in paint, which became a manifesto of his creative philosophy: light not only illuminates, but also paints and creates a mood. Canudas works at the intersection of art, craft and technology, and his designs are full of color, emotion and surprising simplicity that remains in memory.
