Kateryna Sokolova

Kateryna Sokolova is a Ukrainian industrial designer, born in 1984 in Kharkov. She is a co -founder and creative director of the Noom brand and the Sokolova Design studio, specializing in furniture design, lighting and accessories. A graduate of Kharkiv State Academy of Art and Design and scholarship holder of the German university Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle. He works with reputable brands, such as Bolia, for which she created, among others A collection of Leave lamps and a series of COSH armchairs. Her projects combine minimalism, functionality and emotionality, and are often inspired by Ukraine's culture and travel. Sokolova won numerous awards including Red Dot Design Award and German Design Award. Her works were presented at international exhibitions and are valued for a harmonious combination of aesthetics with practicality.
