Daniel to and Emma Ais Ton is an Australian duo of designers who founded the studio Daniel Emma in Adelaide in 2008. They met during their studies in industrial design at the University of South Australia, and after gaining experience in London studies such as Marc Newson or Committee, they decided to create projects combining functionality with aesthetics. Their works are characterized by minimalism, subtle humor and expressive colors. They derive inspiration from everyday life, Australian culture and travel to cities such as Hong Kong or Tokyo. They collaborated with reputable brands, such as HAY, something, Petite Friture or Aark Collective, creating projects covering from small office items to furniture and artistic installations.
