The DuoTone rug by Kvadrat, designed by Hella Jongerius, is an elegant and simple product distinguished by its twoTon structure. Made from the highest quality New Zealand wool, this rug is handwoven by skilled craftsmen in India. The design of the carpet is based on the use of two colors - one for the warp and the other for the weft, which creates a characteristic play of colors and gives it a unique look.

Jongerius describes the DuoTone design as the simplest possible construction for woven rugs, a kind of archetype. This design refers to the iconic Hallingdal upholstery material from Kvadrat, which also uses the twoTon contrast technique. Thanks to the different yarn thicknesses, the rug has an attractive irregularity, which adds depth and texture.

DuoTone is available in various sizes, including custom sizes up to a maximum of 300 x 600 cm. It is possible to order a carpet in a rectangular, square or round shape. The mixture of yarns softens the intensity of colors, thanks to the czEmu carpet it introduces colors into the interior without overwhelming it.
