Tom Dixon is one of the most influential British contemporary designers. A self-taught welder, he became famous for his innovative approach to form, material and light. His designs, such as the Beat and Melt series, are present in the best interiors in the world. Dixon was Habitat's creative director and was named Royal Designer for Industry.
