Studio VE2

Studio VE2 is a Danish design studio based in Aarhus, founded in 2007 by Hugo Dines Schmidt and Morten Lauritzen, graduates of the Faculty of Architecture at Aarhus. He specializes in designing products and interiors, combining functionality with aesthetics in the spirit of Scandinavian minimalism. Their Pode is based on close cooperation with clients, striving to create lasting and thoughtful solutions that enrich the daily lives of users. Studio VE2 works with reputable brands, such as Zone Denmark, Skagerak or furnipart, designing, among others Kitchen accessories, furniture and lighting. Their designs, such as the "Ume" series for Zone Denmark or the "edge" collection for Skagerak, have gained recognition for the combination of simplicity of form with high functionality. In 2020, the Bollard lamp "Nye" received the prestigious Red Dot: Best of the Best award in the lighting category.
