Luis Arrivillaga

Luis Alberto Arrivillaga is a Guatemalan designer who combines engineering precision with artistic sensitivity. He graduated from mechanical engineering at the University of Rafael Landívar in 2005, and then continued his education in Milan, winning two master's titles in the field of industrial design and interior design. He collaborated with reputable brands such as Bolia, MDF Italia, ex.T and Kendo Mobiliario. His projects, such as the "Dana" lamp inspired by optical art or the "Stan" table referring to Piet Mondrian's work, are characterized by a minimalist form, experiments with geometry and light, and attention to detail. Arrivillaga has gained international recognition, including Winning the MDF Italia + Cristalplant competition in 2011. He currently runs his own design studio in Milan, where he continues to create innovative and functional projects.
