Applique a Volet Pivotant is a minimalist wall lamp originally designed in 1962 by Charlotte Perriand for her mountain cottage in the French Alps. The design of this modern lamp is based on a rotating, sheet-like lampshade because, in the designer's opinion, the movements and gestures of human hands are fascinating, hence her designs were often based on various, movable details.

The Applique a Volet Pivotant wall lamp casts indirect, atmospheric lighting by directing a beam of light to both sides of the lampshade. By rotating the lampshade you can control the light flow. The E14 version is equipped with an integrated switch (on board), cable and plug, which allows for simple and easy installation.
